Job description

Beach House Resort is seeking a Senior Sales Manager that will focus on South Carolina, North Carolina, GA Associations as well as Regional and National Corporate group & conference business.  The purpose of this role is to assist in implementing all strategies and activities to generate and maximize overall revenue, through marketing, sales, promotion, and public relations that will impact positively on all operating departments of the hotel. This position focuses on soliciting group business for the hotel.  Ideal candidate to be based in one of the markets described above and can work remotely, independently and is a proven past seller.  


  • Achieve monthly room night goals and catering goals.
  • Ensure full maximization of rooms potential.
  • Assist Director of Sales & Marketing in implementing strategies/action plans to generate revenues for the hotel.
  • Active solicitation of key accounts to generate direct sales to include outside sales calls.
  • Assist the Director of Sales in developing and implementing the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Promote high visibility of hotel through active involvement in industry associations and trade shows.



  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in business, communications, or hotel management preferred
  • Five years or more related experience in group sales work in a hotel setting.
  • Preferred experience in the South Carolina and Regional markets.
  • Must have experience in account solicitation, contract closing, site inspections/visits with clients, and contract negotiations.
  • Remain current with all pertinent computer software programs and equipment
  • Have working knowledge of all departments, the hotel and its amenities.
  • Participate in all sales meetings.
  • Submit Action Plans quarterly/yearly.
